The Year - 2016 It has been an interesting and challenging year. Made all the more poignant by the UK’s should we stay or should we go vote on the EU followed by Trump, trumping everyone in the US presidential election. But were we really that surprised. The world, its economy and people seem to be going through a lot of turmoil, expecting something different and forcing the powers that be into doing something about it.  2017 is going to be an interesting year. Full of opportunity, expectation and developing successful businesses. I am involved in a number of very exciting businesses which are starting to come to fruition and show their potential. On the IT front wherever I go and whoever I talk to, business people (and individuals in fact) are always bemoaning the poor state of their IT, computer systems, software. All I can say is use 2017 to do something about it and get it sorted out. These days there is no excuse for not backing up your systems, changing provider to some better or just getting some one in to help you plan your strategy to align with your business growth and future plans.
